The
Passing of Great Minds
Today
marks a pair of deaths, separated by centuries but of persons intellectually
linked.
On this
day, is 322 b.c. Aristotle passed away.
On this
same date, is 1274, St. Thomas Aquinas passed away. It was Aquinas who in the Summa Theologiae
(an easy 36 volume read) integrated Catholic theology with the precepts of
philosopy, primarily that of Aristotle.
