The Kentucky Assumed Name Statute
The Kentucky Assumed Name statute,
KRS § 365.015, was substantially
modernized in 2006. Since then a series of revisions and additions have been
made to the statute.
In an article (imaginatively)
titled The Kentucky Assumed Name Statute,
Margaret “Megan” Walton and I have reviewed the workings of the current
statute, tying it back to the various historic iterations thereof. This article
was published in Bench & Bar Hot Topics in September, 2017.
