Next Thursday, the Keynote Address for the 2018 LLC Institute will be delivered by Dana Trier, currently with Davis Polk & Wardwell and former Deputy Assistant Secretary for Tax Policy in the U.S. Treasury Department (2017-18).

 

Dana’s remarks, focused on the 2017 amendments to the Internal Revenue Code (the “TC&JA”), will combine a discussion of the legislative process relating to the pass-through provisions with highlights of the Proposed Regulations relating to pass-through entities, with an emphasis on how the regulations try to solve key issues that emerged from the legislative process.
