Courts Holds that County Clerk May Not Refuse to Issue Marriage Licenses Based
on Personal Objection to Same-Sex Marriage
Yesterday Judge Bunning (E.D. Ky.) issued
his ruling to the effect that a county clerk may not, based upon her personal
objection to same-sex marriage, refuse to issue any marriage licenses.
