LLCs in the Law
School Curriculum
This Saturday I will be presenting at the
AALS (American Association of Law Schools) annual conference on the place of
LLCs in the business law curriculum. It is possible it is not as exciting
as it sounds. Still, the traditional focus on the law of corporations,
especially publically traded companys, needs to give way to the reality that
most new businesses are LLCs, and it is in that space that today's law students
will practice.
